MEET US AT  --->>

21st April (Saturday), Peterborough Annual Breweriana and Playing Card Meeting.

This meeting is at a new venue this year. It will be in the function room of the Heron Pub, Stanground, Peterborough PE2 8QB, on Saturday the 21st April between 12:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs.
Meri, The Landlady, will be offering four locally brewed real ales (no Doom Bar here!) and rolls will be available to line the stomach.
Please, please, try and come along as Meri has let us have the room at a most generous rate so in return we want to get as many people in attendance as possible.
There is a large car park and the Citi 3 bus (which stops right outside the Heron) runs every ten minutes from Peterborough bus station. Taxi fares in Peterborough are very competitive too. It will be most helpful if you could indicate whether you are likely to attend and if you require a table. There will be a limited number of "proper" tables available, so early booking is advised, otherwise informal trading can be done on smaller pub tables or if the weather is kind, outside in the garden. We might be asking for a small charity donation for "proper" tables.
Contact Mike Johnson or Maxine Chantry for details.

3rd June (Sunday), Tipplefair.

This fair is also at a new venue this year. It will be in the function room of the Heron Pub, Stanground, Peterborough PE2 8QB, on Sunday 3rd June opening at 11:00.
Offered for sale will be probably the largest selection of drink related memorabilia; (beer, brewery, whisky, spirits, cola etc. glasses, playing cards, ashtrays, mirrors etc.)
Stallholders admission is at 10:00am, collectors 11:00am, admission, £2. Free entry after 1 pm. www.tipplefair.org.uk. Some tables are still available (from £15).
To book call Maxine on 0750 629 6801 or email maxinegchantry@gmail.com for more details.
For the first time at the Tipplefair the Association for British Brewery Collectables will be offering free appraisal and valuation of your beer related breweriana.
